Everything Alice

I was kindly sent a copy of ‘Everything Alice’ a couple of months ago, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but as the title suggests ‘Everything Alice - The Wonderland Book of Makes’ is a book of craft makes inspired by the much loved classic book, 'Alice’s Adventures in wonderland'! There are 50 different projects which range from sewing envelope cushions and wonderland aprons, to making teacup candles and a heart shaped notice board, so something for everyone. There are also some projects to make things that would be perfect for a children’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’ themed party, such as playing card bunting, a teapot cake, crown place cards, tea set invitations, party games and also some tea party food recipes that are spread throughout the book. It really is a wonderful book to look at, with pretty paper-cut illustrations and nicely presented photos to accompany each project.
Published by Quadrille, available to buy from Amazon.
There is also a supporting website for the book.

Lillian Crowe

Amazing jewellery by Lillian Crowe. Self taught to sculpt wax and make moulds to create these statement pieces inspired by her love of museum relics and the curious stories that these old artifacts would tell. My favorite piece is the ribcage necklace and I love her studio!

Dotty Angel

I bought a 'most happy' trio of notebooks from Dotty Angel's Etsy shop on Wednesday and they arrived this morning. They came wrapped in a magazine page with pink string wrapped around the center.

They are so pretty!
If you have not yet seen Dotty Angel's work then go and have a look

What Katie Ate e-book

I'm probably a little late to blog about this but I just found it and I love it! It's a 495 page bumper Christmas edition e-book by Katie Quinn Davies, creator of the 'What Katie Ate' blog. The e-book is full of Christmas recipes and beautiful photography. A lot of people have said it would make an amazing book and I agree! Take a look at the full magazine here.
